Iglesia Vida Real
The relationship with Faith Community Church and Iglesia Vida Real began in 2007 when we sent our first team! Since then, people from our Faith family have partnered through prayer, school sponsorships, supplying needs over the years, Gift of the Gospel support, and various other ways to encourage the ministry, including participating in mission teams.
Members from our Faith family were able to participate in coming alongside Vida Real as a part of a mission team over the years, giving them the opportunity to bless and be blessed through their physical support of the needs of Vida Real. These teams included focuses around construction, school support in the facility, classrooms & with staff, medical support & screenings, community & church family needs support, along with partnership in the church plants, radio ministry, community events, 7 music and prayer ministries, and overall pastoral care.

Church Planting
Iglesia Vida Real now has 11 active church plants in the region if Lake Atitlan. These local churches are often the only ones in each area that are preaching the Gospel in their native Mayan languages so that the community members can understand. The church families generally meet in homes or small bamboo or concrete structures.
Pastors
We will continue to learn more about the pastors of our church plants through our relationship with Vida Real! Their names are Pastor Ventura, Pastor Angel, Pastor Pascual, Pastor Tomás, Pastor José María, Pastor José, Pastor Gregorio, Pastor Luis, Pastor Pedro, Pastor Juan, and Pastor Manuel. As with many adults in the communities, some of the pastors did not learn to speak or read Spanish, so these men are often preaching and learning the Bible through oral teaching and training only, as the Bible is not available in many of their dialects.
Pastor Antonio leads these pastors through encouragement, pastoral training and care,
monthly connections and visits, and seminary and biblical teaching.

Vida Real School
Vida Real also has a school as a part of their church to provide the only evangelical Christian eduction available to the community of San Pablo. Many of the school fees are sponsored by outside people, as most families cannot afford to pay for school. The teachers have worked by faith as well, making well below industry expectation because they believe in the ministry. Children receive biblical education, support, and teaching that they, in turn, bring back to their families! Families are also given many opportunities to engage, learn, study, and pray with and for their students.
